LOVE LIFE POSTER

Originally designed to be viewed from the 'front' cleaner side. The more I look at it, the more I like the mess of the 'back'. I also think this mess emphasises the idea of the piece. The fact that it now it works, back, front, up and upside down was such a lovely surprise.

ALBUM ARTWORK

Proposed Album artwork concept for The Might Men of Steel. Unfortunately the job didn't go through but I still like the idea and still playing with the treatment.

SOLES FOR THE SOUL - ART DIRECTION

Art and beach surf culture have always been tied closely together. The focus of the exhibition was to raise money and awareness of coastal and beach care issues through positive actions - the branding for the event needed to reflect that. Fun in the sun for all I say.

SOLES FOR THE SOUL - EVENT DIRECTION

I invited 20 Artists to do what they do best on the pop surf culture icon - the sneaker. The artists donated their time to collaborate in an amazing sneaker art exhibition, part and auction. Consisting of emerging artists exhibiting next to design industries heavy weights: Vince Frost (Frost Design) and Murray Bell (Design is Kinky). The focus of the event was to raise awareness of environmental, predominantly coastal care. Held at one the worlds most recognised beaches - Bondi Beach Sydney. All proceeds going to The Surfrider Foundation Australia.

WIND & RAIN

A reaction to changing the climate conditions that seem to be happening around the place. Its kind of tricky to read but if you look it does read 'Wind & Rain'.

LE CHATEAU PRESS KIT

My first job designing and setting type in two languages - The Fall/Automne 07 Press Kit for Le Chateau. One of the many ongoing joyous, frustrating but always interesting learning experiences of working in a bi-lingual city and learning a second language. I have to admit I was pretty naive when I first moved to designing in this environment. I also wont lie, in that I still find it a challenge. Albeit, when you get those line breaks to work in two languages simultaneously... now that is satisfying.

KEEFY'S 60

What good is being a designer if you can't put together some elements for your Dad's 60th Birthday. Unfortunately I couldn't be there for the party but everyone made their masks and went dressed as 'Keefy' - 40 years younger.

Illustration and Design: Pencil, Ink and Vector

ALBUM COVER AND TOUR PACKAGE

A homage to the classic DIY, collage style poster artwork of the original New York block party scene. While all jobs have different levels of enjoyment, this was one of those ones that was just fun. Gimme Some More/Lyrics Born Tour Collateral and Album Cover for Jam Records.

MINIMBAH HOUSE BOOK DESIGN

When a you are trying to sell a fairy tale property, what else but a classic story book would do the Job. Hand drawn drop caps and gold leafed detail were as much fun for me to work with as it was necessary to capture the magic of this estate. (C'mon, it has its own vineyard). For Property Central while working at Purple SDM

POSTER SERIES

A series for the 'Take A Peace Project', to get youth involved in taking action against climate change. The idea by relating the issue to something they are passionate about. In this case the ski and snowboard industry facing a future of no snow, a reality we are already seeing the effects of.

MELBOURNE CUP POSTER

Its a party... what else can i say. A poster for the Slip Inn and Mericale Group.

Concept, Design and Illustration: Water colour and digital.

PASSION POSTER

The passion to ride. It's what drives us to wake up before the sun, load up our gear & head to the mountains while our neighbours sleep. It changes the meaning of 'winter storm warning'. It drives us to question what's possible and never ever take no for an answer. It creates unlikely friendships, unforgettable days, countless stories and a culture devoted to standing sideways and having fun.

A friend gave me this quote a long time ago. I collaborated with Aj and Gene to make these limited edition screen printed pieces.

Collaboration: Screen printed on Calico

LE CHATEAU WINDOWS

Like the rest of The Montreal Jazz Festival that year. Le Chateau wanted to pay tribute to the Legendary Oscar Petterson the year he passed. His contribution to his art and the hole that was left was a focus of the festival.
